We have one requirement, as per requirement SAP ECC sends INVOICE idoc to SAP PO and SAP PO generates the EDI 810 file using B2B Add-on and sends that EDI 810 to trading partner.
Once trading partner sends 997 back to SAP PO, SAP PO map the 997 to STATUS idoc to update corresponding INVOICE IDoc in ECC.
To achieve this requirement, I would like to map the IDoc number to ST level Control number (ST02 field). So that when SAP PO receive the 997 back, it will have same control number in that 997 and map that control number as IDoc number in STATUS idoc.
The whole story works fine until if the IDoc number is 9 digit length or less than 9, but in our production ECC IDoc number length is already 10 digits. As per ANSI X12 standards ST level control number handles only 9 digits of length.
Do we have any alternative way to store the IDoc number corresponding to control number in TPM or temporary tables?
Anybody faced the same kind of issue?
